Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, consultants, and third parties engaged by RGA. It covers all aspects of employment and business interactions, including recruitment, promotion, training, work allocation, and supplier engagement.
Policy Statement
RGA is committed to:
- Promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of our operations
- Ensuring that all individuals are treated fairly, with dignity and respect, regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic
- Preventing and addressing discrimination, harassment, and bullying in the workplace
- Encouraging an inclusive culture where all employees and contractors can contribute fully and achieve their potential
- Supporting suppliers and partners who demonstrate commitment to diversity and inclusion in their own operations
Responsibilities
All employees are expected to uphold the principles of this policy in their day-to-day work
Managers are responsible for promoting EDI, providing guidance, and addressing any concerns
The company Director has overall responsibility for ensuring compliance with this policy
Reporting
Employees and contractors are encouraged to report any breaches or concerns via line management or HR. Reports are treated confidentially, and appropriate actions are taken to resolve issues.
Review
This policy is reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant to RGA’s operations and aligns with best practice in equity, diversity, and inclusion.
