We recognise the importance of managing and reducing our carbon footprint and are committed to promoting environmentally responsible practices across our operations.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and consultants working for or on behalf of RGA. It covers our office operations, business travel, IT equipment use, and other activities contributing to carbon emissions.
Policy Statement
RGA is committed to:
- Measuring and monitoring our energy use and carbon emissions wherever practicable
- Reducing carbon emissions through initiatives such as energy-efficient IT practices, remote working, and responsible travel choices
- Promoting sustainable practices within the business, including reducing waste, minimising resource consumption, and choosing low-carbon options for travel and procurement where possible
- Encouraging employees to adopt carbon-conscious behaviours in their day-to-day work
Responsibilities
All employees are expected to act in accordance with this policy and contribute to carbon reduction initiatives
The company Director has overall responsibility for ensuring the policy is implemented, maintained, and reviewed
Review
This policy is reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant to RGA’s operations and aligned with best practice in carbon management.
