We are committed to conducting our procurement activities responsibly, ethically, and sustainably.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and third parties involved in procurement decisions or supplier engagement on behalf of RGA. It covers the selection, management, and review of suppliers and service providers.
Policy Statement
RGA is committed to:
- Considering environmental, social, and ethical factors when procuring goods and services, including reducing waste, energy consumption, and emissions where practical
- Selecting suppliers who demonstrate ethical business practices, compliance with applicable laws, and commitment to modern slavery prevention, health and safety, and fair working conditions
- Encouraging suppliers and subcontractors to adopt sustainable practices, including responsible sourcing and minimising environmental impact
- Ensuring transparency, fairness, and value for money in procurement decisions
Responsibilities
All employees involved in procurement are expected to follow this policy and apply sustainable, ethical, and responsible practices
The company Director has overall responsibility for implementing and maintaining this policy
Review
This policy is reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant to RGA’s activities and aligned with best practice in sustainable procurement.
